Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Marc Phelps, trading as Edge Branding, of [SAMPLE ADDRESS — NOT YET SET] 1 Example Street, London, EC1A 1AA.

By using LensVault you accept them. If you would like anything explained, write to hello@lensvault.co.uk.

LensVault reads a Google Drive folder you share with us, keeps a catalogue of the pictures in it, suggests tags, and lets you search your archive, build projects and send contact sheets to other people.

We may improve or change how features work. If a change materially reduces what you get, we will tell you first.

You must give accurate details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.

Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

You are responsible for what people you invite onto your library do there.

Your photographs remain yours. We claim no ownership of them, and we never will.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to read the folder you shared, to store and display copies, to make thumbnails and delivery files, and to show the pictures to people you choose to share them with.

That permission ends when you close your account, save for copies still held in routine backups, which age out.

We will not use your photographs to promote LensVault without asking you first.

• Upload or catalogue material you have no right to use, or anything unlawful.
• Use LensVault to hold material that is obscene, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or get at another customer's library.
• Resell access to LensVault or share one account among people who should have their own.

Where a plan is charged for, the price and the billing period are shown before you commit.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.

If a payment fails, we will tell you and try again. If it keeps failing, your account becomes read-only — you can still see and download your pictures. We will not lock you out of your own work over a failed card.

Consumers have the cancellation rights the law gives them, and nothing here removes them.

We work hard to keep LensVault available and correct, but we do not promise it will be perfect or uninterrupted.

Tag suggestions are suggestions. Check them before relying on them.

Keep your own copies of your photographs. LensVault is a catalogue and a delivery tool — it is not a backup service, and it is not a substitute for one.

We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data caused by matters outside our reasonable control, nor for anything that was not a foreseeable result of our breaking this agreement.

Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

You may close your account at any time. Your library and image copies are deleted within thirty days, as set out in the privacy policy.

We may end this agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data unless the law prevents it.

This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
